Lowry Computer Products has announced the opening of its second RFID centre, in Orange County, California, USA. Built on the successful design of its first RFID centre at Lowry's corporate office in Brighton, Michigan, the west coast RFID centre will offer professional services and RFID certification training for organisations planning the implementation of RFID technology to comply with labelling mandates issued by large retailers and the US Department of Defense.
The new facility is equipped with the latest RFID hardware (printers, encode & apply labellers, readers and portals), all made by Lowry's business partners. Based on each client's unique application needs, Lowry engineers at the centre will recommend the necessary hardware and RFID inlays, and also identify the ideal smart label position on the client's shipping pallets. The new centre will also offer RFID certification training classes based on OTA Training's curriculum.
