Dallas, Texas -- January 26, 2007

OTA Training, LLC, the global leader in hands-on, vendor-neutral RFID training has become the first RFID training company to conduct CompTIA RFID+™ Certification training in India. Held in conjunction with RFID Expo Live India, OTA trained twenty-two students from the region as a first step toward serving the rapidly growing RFID training needs in the South Asia sub-continent. This marks the first time CompTIA RFID+ Certification training has been delivered in the region’s history.

After completing the course, attendees had the option of taking the CompTIA® RFID+ exam on site and becoming CompTIA RFID+ Certified. CompTIA certification validates the knowledge and skills of professionals who work with RFID technology. It is an international, vendor-neutral credential that recognizes a technician's ability to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the hardware and software necessary to an RFID implementation.

"There is no doubt that Indians are keenly interested in learning more about RFID and becoming CompTIA RFID+ certified” said Darshan Brahmbhatt, Director of South Asia Operations, OTA Training LLC. "We are delighted and proud that OTA was the first in this explosive market”.

Mr. P. Boominathan, Chief Executive Officer of Asia Technologies remarked "When we were searching for an RFID training partner there was no other choice but to pick the company that wrote the book on RFID training and certification", referring to OTA’s best selling CompTIA RFID+ Exam Cram™ study guide. "This is part of our ongoing strategy to provide a great service and support infrastructure to the RFID industry in South Asia,” added Boominathan.

“RFID systems are complex and difficult to install and integrate because unpredictable variables can occur at any stage of the deployment,” said John Venator, President and Chief Executive Officer, CompTIA. “The more experienced, trained and certified the RFID team, the better they will be able to overcome any challenges.”

OTA Training has aggressive plans to expand their comprehensive training throughout India and the South Asia sub-continent. Based on the tremendous success of this class, more classes are to be scheduled in the immediate future. Representatives from companies such as Accenture, GE, Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), Servewel Industries, ITC, Electronics and Telecommunications Institute (ETRI – Korea) and Top Solutions were among those involved in the inaugural class.
